Coming up on Sunday, November 20 from AT&T Stadium in Arlington, we’ve got NFL Week 11 action between the Baltimore Ravens and the Dallas Cowboys.

Baltimore comes into this game with a shaky 5-4 record. The good news is that the Ravens have won their last two games, most recently a 28-7 drubbing of the Browns. In that game Baltimore QB Joe Flacco went for 296 pass yards with three scores and two picks. Terrance West held down the Ravens’ running game with 21 carries for 65 yards, and Breshad Perriman was tops in receiving with three catches for 64 yards and a score.

So far this year, Flacco has thrown for 2374 yards but has a 9:9 TD:INT ratio for Baltimore. West is the Ravens’ lead back on 132 attempts for 510 yards and three TDs, while Mike Wallace is the high man in receiving with 43 catches for 673 yards and four scores.

Over on the Cowboys’ side, they’re rolling this year with a great 8-1 record. Dallas has won eight straight, with the latest being a 35-30 win over Pittsburgh this past Sunday. Rookies Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliott were the driving forces for the Cowboys here; Prescott bagged 319 yards and two scores, while Elliott rushed 21 times for 114 yards and two touchdowns.

On the season thus far, Prescott has 2399 yards, 14 touchdowns and just two interceptions for Dallas, while Elliott holds 198 rushes for 1005 yards and nine scores. Cole Beasley is the Cowboys’ leading receiver thus far on 48 catches for 532 yards and four touchdowns.

The Ravens are 2-0-3 ATS in their last five games in Week 11, and 3-0-1 ATS in their last four games in November. Baltimore is also 4-1 ATS in their last five games following an ATS win, and 6-2 ATS in their last eight games following a straight-up win.

Meanwhile, the Cowboys are 7-0 ATS in their last seven games following a straight-up win, and 7-0 ATS in their last seven games following an ATS win. Dallas is also 8-0 ATS in their last eight games overall, and 1-4 ATS in their last five home games versus a team with a winning road record.

The Ravens have looked pretty good over the past couple of weeks, scoring at least 21 points in both games. That said, they also faced Ben Roethlisberger fresh off injury and the woeful Browns in their two wins. That considered, I don’t see any reason to jump off the Cowboys train right now, mostly thanks to that stellar offensive line of theirs. I’ll take Dallas to cover.

The pick in this article is the opinion of the writer, not a Sports Chat Place site consensus.

The Baltimore Ravens’ playoff aspirations are at stake Tuesday night as they take the field against the Dallas Cowboys, and they have their franchise quarterback in place to lead them through the pivotal game.

Lamar Jackson, the NFL’s reigning MVP, missed last week’s loss to the Steelers after testing positive for the coronavirus. He returned to the team over the weekend and is in line to start Tuesday against the Cowboys (3-8), who own one of the NFL’s worst defenses.

But the Ravens (6-5) aren’t without their own problems. They’ve suffered three straight losses and sit a game and a half out of the final wildcard spot in the AFC. With five games left, Baltimore could see its postseason hopes wither away with one or two more setbacks.

Conventional wisdom, then, suggests the team has to beat Dallas. A few starters — Willie Snead, Matthew Judon and Mark Andrews — remain on the Ravens’ reserve/COVID-19 list, but they have begun to replenish depth and star power after a coronavirus outbreak.

Tuesday night, the Ravens can hope to begin a late-season surge back toward contention and a place among the NFL’s elite teams. Or they could watch a once-promising campaign slip further away.
