Zurich Classic Golf Tournament In New Orleans
A major stop on the annual Professional Golfers Association (PGA) Championship Tournament Circuit, the Zurich Classic began life as the New Orleans Open in 1938 on the golf course in City Park.
The Zurich Classic is played every year during the final week of April at the Tournament Players Club roughly 15 miles west of downtown New Orleans. The TPC, completed in the early 2000s, offers all of the amenities of a modern golf course, in addition to being maintained in absolute peak condition at all times.
